I’m incredibly proud of this independent short film I got to join as a Supervising Producer. I also have been able to lead the marketing plan for the film including supporting it through strategic film festival submission and pitching to executive producers. This film is very close to my hears and could not have been created without the incredible Writer, Director, Producers, Actors, and crew who made it all come to fruition. Together, we are still open to have more executive producers join us as we turn this film into a feature.

“Always Azizam is the first of its kind, love story with an Iranian trans woman as the lead. At a time when transgender people's rights are under attack, it was extremely important to both Pooya and the Director Shayan Ebrahim to create an authentic film that can start a conversation and hopefully bring about more acceptance into the world.

We started by looking at our own community, where unfortunately the subject remains culturally taboo to this day. If we can change even just one parent's mind through this film, we will have accomplished our goal.”
